Each week we sit for half an hour and then explore a range of topics through contemplative conversation that we practice bringing into our daily lives.

Through meditation and open conversation, you’re invited to get to know yourself more genuinely in community.

Being part of a group of individuals who are committed to opening, learning, and deepening into their hearts offers something very powerful to the participants: it gives the experience of being seen and valued at a core level of being. This is something our hearts long to give and receive, and, it might not be very common for most of us to experience spaces strong in this quality before.

When we gather, drop into ourselves, share openly, honestly, and courageously, we allow for genuine connection to arise. We meet each other at a deeper level. Fear lessens as we hide less. We recognize and feel our strength as we relax and let ourselves be seen, as we are, in the moment.

As we learn about our differences and our sameness, we understand through a felt-sense that we are, in fact, interconnected and that, that is our shared power. Call it love, call it connection, call it community, call it relationship; when we’re in tune and attuned to one another without fear, competition or hiding, we are in the flow without barrier, we are experiencing ourselves as whole and complete yet totally a part of everything simultaneously.

We both long for, and fear, community and togetherness. The presence of these two energies of being in relational spaces signifies the importance of them. Our health as a human family depends on each of us becoming more natural and at ease in the company of each other.

Join us for a Thursday evening session. Our community space is enlivening and supportive for developing inner and outer connection.

“The river must be calm to reflect the full moon. The clear mind has insight into the true nature of things.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh

What is contemplative meditation?

Contemplative meditation brings together focused attention with deep reflection. It involves exploring our inquisitive nature through present introspection.
